Mortgage Application Process

Applying for a new home loan is a cinch with a Loan Advisor guiding you every step of the way.

Here's How It All Works!

Whether it’s your first home or your dream home, the process to complete your application remains largely the same:

Kickoff

Upon acceptance of your offer, you will receive a welcome email from ROUNDPOINT LLC-3. Your processor will then order the appraisal, verify your credit, employment, and other assets.

Contract

Your real estate attorney will help you review and sign your contract-of-sale, at which point you’ll deliver your down payment

Processing

You’ll then submit to your Loan Advisor a fully executed contract-of-sale along with other required documents. Once complete, you’ll then sign your application and disclosure agreements.

Appraisal Report

Once your appraisal has been received and reviewed, your processor will update you on any outstanding conditions pending loan approval.

Underwriting

The processor then submits your file to underwriting for review. When approval is issued by underwriting you will receive an official commitment letter.

Title Report

Your attorney submits the title report to our team for review and clearance.

Clear to Close

Submit all closing conditions; insurance carrier is noted on commitment letter for final clearance.

Schedule Closing

All parties are notified that the loan is now clear-to-close and the closing date is scheduled. You will receive your closing disclosure at least three days prior to your closing.

Closing

All parties sign closing documents. Certified check instructions are provided prior to closing.
