Here’s a CLOSER Look at the loan transfer process
If you received a letter from Mr. Cooper stating that your loan will be transferring to RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC, please review the below transfer process for more details. Your letter will indicate the date of your transfer.
Transfer Steps
STEP 1:
Your previous servicer sends you a goodbye letter informing you of the transfer. During this timeframe, you may also have received a welcome email from us explaining next steps.
Dates:
> June 1 Transfers: 15 days prior to June 1
STEP 2:
We formally begin the onboarding process.
Dates:
> June 1 Transfers: On June 1
STEP 3:
You may receive a welcome call from us. We use this as an opportunity to introduce ourselves and answer any questions you may have.
Please note: You will NOT be able to set up your online account until the last day of this period.
Dates:
> June 1 Transfers: Between June 1 and June 6
STEP 4:
Keep your eye out for a welcome letter and an email from us providing you with your new account information. We'll also mail your first RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC billing statement at this time.

> June 1 Transfers: Between June 11 and June 15

3. Sign up for automatic payments (ACH)*

For most customers enrolled in autopay through Mr. Cooper, your automatic debit will continue uninterrupted. Please note: If your automatic debit will NOT be transferring to RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC, you will be notified within the Goodbye Letter you receive from Mr. Cooper.
Mr. Cooper will continue to draft scheduled payments until the dates noted below:
> For June 1 Transfers: through May 31, 2023
Starting the day of your transfer, RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC will draft your scheduled payments on or after that date.
If you've submitted a payment to your prior servicer, the payment will be forwarded to us within 60 days of your transfer date. Please allow 7–10 days to account for mailing and receipt. If the payment has not been posted after that time, please confirm the payment was cleared with your financial institution. If the check has been cleared, please be prepared to share that record when you reach out to us. Instructions on where to send future payments can be found here.
